ASTar® is a CE-IVDR-marked, innovative and fully automated antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) system based on the broth microdilution method. The system provides clinically relevant MIC results directly from positive blood culture samples in approximately six hours, helping laboratories and healthcare professionals make faster and more accurate treatment decisions.
The easy-to-use three-step workflow reduces manual work and requires less than two minutes of user time per sample. The system allows for simultaneous analysis of up to 12 samples and continuous random access for efficient laboratory routines.
