Intended use The detection of coliforms in water, dairy products and other foods.

Typical formula (g/l): Tryptose 20.0; Lactose 5.0; Sodium chloride 5.0; Dipotassium hydrogen phosphate 2.75;
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate 2.75; Sodium lauryl sulphate 0.1

Formula conform: ISO 4831, NEN 955, NEN-ISO 16649-2, NEN-ISO 7251

After incubation for 24 hours, examine for turbidity and gas production. If no gas has formed, incubate for a further 24 hours and re-examine.

Interpretation: Appearance Light amber, clear to very slightly opalescent liquid
